Communications concerning any facility updates or upgrades. Conducting inspections on 10% of all

power supplies completed each week. Completing invoicing and billing for all jobs, and turned in on

a weekly basis, ordering and reconciliation of all materials needed for project.

The territory consists of 7 states with over 50% travel. The scope of my work includes

hiring technicians that are needed in my territory, production control, quality control.

OSP Project Manager(2004 - Nov 2010)

Supervised 15-20 Field Technicians placing and splicing both fiber and CXM lines pertaining to

outside plant facilities. Tracking and analyzing performace, productivity, quality, safety and

closure of work orders, implement action plans for improvement in each category. Training,

development and compliance to corporate, city and state policies. Weekend duty, on call and

extended hours as needed. Extensive territory which included 200 square miles.

* Increased productivity 25% in first 3 years;  Met and surpassed 90% of production objectives on

    average.

* Monitored and improved safety of work group, resulting in 6 years with only 4 non-preventable

   automobile accidents with >1 M miles driven. Performed monthly safety observations per

   employee.

* Improved quality by reducing number of customer complaints to $2K. Performed 2 quality

   inspections per employee per month to ensure work is accurate and meets customer

   expectations  and complied with corporate safety policies.

* Increased production from 3.0 to 4.3 jobs per day per technician.

* Furnished initial and ongoing training to all personnel; held monthly informational and

   motivational meetings resulting in no turnover.

* Approved ~200 invoices per month which included verifying contractor did a quality job

   on a daily basis. Ensured correct billing codes. Rejected 25-30 per month.

Road Coordinator / OSP  Engineer(2002 - 2004)

Designed and placed new facilities in subdivisions and major road relocation projects ranging

from $.5 M - $30M.

* Selected for temporary hire promotion Road Coordinator and Outside Plant Engineer/Network

   Operations Engineer.

* Purchase orders and pricing on all materials from manholes to conduit, cables, and splicing

   materials needed for job from start to finish.

* Coordinated with contractors and state, city and local municipalities on all major road projects

   including but not limited to permits, road closings, detours, equipment, ACAD's and presite

   surveys.

* Created and maintained weekly and monthly schedules and reports which included relocation,

   placing and splicing of all Verizon facilities.

* Worked with contractors to resolve any possible conflicts of placement of Verizon facilities.

* Logged daily progress and materials used each day.

Customer Zone Technician II(1998 - 2002)

Installed and repaired new and existing service to both business and residential customers.

* Spliced and repaired copper and lead cables from 100 pair to 3000 pair.

* United fiber cables ranging from 12 strand single mode fiber to 864 ribbon fiber.

* Worked on underground, buried and aerial applications.

* Recruited for management training program.

Supervised 6 linemen. Placed ariel and buried cable. Placed and removed poles.

* Placed 60 miles of cable at Akron U., placed fibered and spliced it all for Cleveland/Hopkins airport

    on a 2 year project.
